We live in a world of make believe. A world filled with people of many different beliefs about many different things. We give a careful politically correct description to all these varying beliefs calling them an individual’s “world view”. What a nice phrase. It sounds like each person has a well thought out researched position for what they believe and why. Nothing could be further from the truth.
The majority of the world now believes we are living in the last days. However, that is where agreement on the subject ends. Many religions have their own view of how the end will play out including many atheists who believe the world is in desperate trouble simply because of man induced climate change and wars driven by religion.
Each of us have very important decisions to make about our “world view”. In the midst of increasing global chaos, destruction, barbarism, and totalitarian control, do you have an unshakeable faith in what you believe? Have you studied its origin and have knowledge in many other views that you know for sure you are right? Where you will spend eternity? Are you sure?
I’m writing this not to scare, make fun of or hurt anyone. Knowing full well that not a single person may read this, I’m writing it anyway, on the off chance that GOD may lead just one person to this entry who may need it, and be saved, by choosing Jesus as their Lord and Savior. So without tremendous detail to make this long, boring, and unreadable, I’m going to state some truths as I and many other prophetic students understand them regarding the time we are living in and GOD’s plan.
The world is now experiencing the beginnings of sorrows and labor pains as described by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Luke 21, Matthew 24, and Mark 13. We are absolutely in the season of Christ’s return with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, global upheaval in the form of volcanos, earthquakes, sink holes, animal die-offs, drought, famine, disease, wars and rumors of wars, isolation and hatred of Israel, and global Christian persecution.
Many Christians are falling away from the true faith from lack of Biblical knowledge and are believing, and teaching, doctrines of demons. These include everything from sexual perversion, redefinition of marriage, the mixing in of occult beliefs and practices, and the teaching of a false gospel (or feel good message) without the need for repentance, to name a few. Make no mistake, GOD does not care about being cool, hip, or staying up with the times. He has one standard of truth and holiness (His Word), and He does not change. Hebrews 13:8, Malachi 3:6.
Many Christian ministers are silent regarding the times we are in for many reasons. Some are self-absorbed con-men telling you what you want to hear to keep you coming to their church for money and members to feed their own pride and ego. Others have not studied biblical prophecy to understand the level of detail needed to be confident of the time we are in and are worried about being wrong and looking foolish. There are some that use the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine in belief that all Christians will be raptured out of here before any persecution begins so why tell their congregation and worry them. (I’m sure the thousands of Christians that are being slaughtered by various Islamic groups throughout North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia right now would disagree with that position.) Whatever their reason, the important message here is that each person must be mentally and spiritually prepared for what is happening and what will happen.
Students of Biblical prophecy know without a shadow of a doubt that we are now living in the season of the return of Jesus Christ. In addition to the numerous prophecies being fulfilled, or about to be fulfilled, the Holy Spirit confirms in our spirits that we are living in the last days and that HIS return is imminent. For a Christ follower, the ever increasing evil and upheaval being unleashed on the earth is undeniable.
These things are being allowed by GOD for a short period of time in increasing measure to turn hearts to HIMSELF for those that will wake up and realize their hope is in GOD Almighty and Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Many however, will harden their hearts, reject GOD, and become more evil by the day as they allow every unclean spirit to control them. Many will be deceived believing in a false utopia on earth promised by a false savior (antichrist) who is to be revealed after the restrainer (Holy Spirit) is removed from the earth along with the rapture (snatching away) of Christ followers. They will gladly take the “mark of the beast” in/on their right hand or forehead to be able to continue to buy or sell declaring allegiance to the antichrist. This is the period of the great tribulation that will last 42 months of which during that period, GOD will unleash His wrath on the earth to judge those people and nations who have rejected HIM and HIS SON. Be certain, anyone who takes the mark is unredeemable and can no longer be saved. It is likely their very DNA will be altered by this mark making it impossible for them to turn back to GOD. The final destination for them will be the lake of fire at the great white throne judgment.
I can’t stress enough how important it is for everyone to seek GOD and Jesus now! The Bible is the only Word of GOD of which nothing else compares. GOD’s Word declares the end from the beginning and foretells all of what is happening in the world today. It’s a love story of how GOD sent His only Son to save us by dying for our sins and giving us eternal life as proven by His resurrection. And, it’s the way to know HIM and develop a relationship with HIM learning HIS character, what He expects, and how much HE loves us and wants all of us to be saved by coming to HIM in repentance. It’s our absolute standard for truth and learning good from evil.
Whatever you may be involved in, have done, or wherever you are today, please pray to and ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. Ask HIM for forgiveness of your sins, turn from them, and leave them behind. For the believer, stay in a close relationship with GOD and Jesus trusting that he will bring you through whatever storm you may face before HE comes to take us home. Pray in the Spirit often and do not let what is going on in the world and around you trouble you. Those without the Lord will be obvious in the days to come as they will become angry and desperate looking for an earthly solution and savior in the midst of chaos. Unfortunately, they will be given one who is the wrong one and he will lead them to an final eternal destination of torment where he will end up as well.
Jesus told His disciples, “Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” Prepare your hearts now and make yourself ready so that when He appears you may be counted worthy to stand before the Son of Man and escape the things that will come upon the earth.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
2Pe 3:11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn!
2Pe 3:13 But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
2Pe 3:14 Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace.
