This post is a message and a warning to the Christian church throughout the western world.
All of us sin on a daily basis whether intentionally, through habits, or unintentionally.
As someone who professes to be saved and a follower of GOD and Jesus Christ, we should feel conviction when we do sin, confess our sin to GOD, repent, and ask forgiveness. If that is not happening, there’s a problem.
What shouldn’t happen, is we try to explain away, justify, and even worse, deny or promote our sin to others. That attitude is either declaring that GOD made a mistake, or He is a liar. This is precisely what has been happening in many churches throughout western civilization.
While Jesus described the church of Laodicea with the exact words in the title of this post (Rev 13:17), He was referring to the lukewarm attitude of a wealthy church who felt they were in need of nothing, weak in their faith, blind to the truth of GODs Word, and were not clothed in the righteousness of Christ. They were playing church. However, as bad as that church was, the state of many churches today, within the western world, are worse. Why you ask?
The water has been poisoned. Ministers are now being educated in false doctrines that declare that scripture is errant, full of inconsistencies, and can only be relied on as a relative reference. They attempt to psychoanalyze the apostle Paul, declaring his teachings to be full of bias, with a dysfunctional belief regarding sexuality. And, if that’s not bad enough, they are declaring there are other paths to salvation other than Jesus. All of this is a twisted deception, pure evil, and another creation of a false religion. These churches are playing the Harlot and following in the same pattern ancient Israel fell into that resulted in Gods judgement. GOD allowed her enemies to invade and destroy her cities, pillage her wealth, and take her youth away captive.
So, at a high level, what has this done?
It has sent into the world many false teachers and prophets that are infecting and infiltrating churches across America, and the world, with pagan ideologies regarding abortion, sex, sexuality, family, spirituality, and worship. These churches not only condone and promote these unbiblical beliefs, but invite into their churches speakers that are pagan, occultists, and LGBTQ. They cater to satisfying the flesh and almost always reflect a demonic spirit of Jew hatred. The same spirit that infected Babylon, the German Nazis, Stalin’s communist regime, Mao’s China, and that birthed Islam, is at the center of the falling away seen in these churches.
In an attempt to justify their heresy, they hide behind the word “love” when in actuality, showing real love is leading all to Christ, the truth of GOD’s Word, and real salvation that results in eternal life with a Holy GOD. Not a comfortable trip to hell.
Hosea 4:6 my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge.
“Because you have rejected knowledge,
I also reject you as my priests;
because you have ignored the law of your God,
I also will ignore your children.
Gal 5:16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever[c] you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
For some of the older churches, this has been a slow fade. Compromise after compromise over the years, becoming more and more lukewarm, until finally the church has become a reflection of the world. Because the same values of a secular pagan world are now condoned and promoted in too many of these churches, the restraining effect the church once had on the expansion of evil in the world has been severely diminished. The teaching of Godly values, all but gone.
The darkness is no longer hiding in the shadows, as it’s openly displaying itself. It’s engulfing many towns, cities, and states. Corruption and lawlessness are increasing with horrific acts against children, the elderly, and the weak. Entitlement, stealing, rioting, and destruction of property. Lying has become an art form to move forward personal agendas, gain power, or make money.
My questions to these churches. What do you hope to gain? Do you really believe you have the authority to change the Word of GOD? Do you think His Word will not accomplish what He sent it for? Since you are playing god, can you grant yourself salvation?
Can you see how absolutely insulting and offensive it is to claim there are other paths to salvation? Do you think the Son of GOD came, suffered horrific punishment, and died if there were other ways?
Can you see how absolutely insulting and offensive it is to claim that Jesus made a mistake in His choosing of the Apostle Paul to bring the Gospel to the gentiles and start His church if Paul was full of biases and mental disorders? That Jesus “the Word of GOD” who is the “Word” in both old and new testaments was wrong or changed His mind regarding what is sin and declaring what is right and wrong?
It’s time for the western church to repent and listen to our saviors’ words. Babylon will fall. Don’t be a part of it.
Rev 3:18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. 20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.
21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne. 22 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”
