The Final Exam

“Rev 3:10 Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.
Rev 3:11 I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown.”

It’s time for self reflection. Time to assess not only my faith in Jesus Christ, but my obedience as well.

I can’t help but wonder what kind of person I will be in the days to come. As the days become more and more hostile against faith in Jesus, will I begin to hate those that hate Him?… I pray not.

Will I succumb to my flesh and my feelings of self preservation when I see those around me in lack, lack of food, water, or anything else?… I pray not.

I see a world that is being mentally conditioned with a picture of a future devastation and the message of “kill others” to get what you want to survive. Will that be me? Will that be you?…. I pray not.

Will I protect my family against those that threaten us? Absolutely. Will I cross the street to steal from and kill my neighbor for food to feed my family? Absolutely NOT!

Some may ask, why not? Their rational may be, “it’s survival of the fittest!”.

That rational is understandable for those who have no hope beyond this life, with a belief that “this life is it, it’s all we get”. Therein lies the problem.

A charitable loving society, one who’s people put others before themselves, are self governing because they can be trusted, are honest, and loyal, that society is the one who’s foundation is built upon the values of GOD. The GOD of the Bible.

When a society is built upon selfishness, greed, lies, corruption, and immorality, that society will either collapse or be ruled by a dictator to maintain tyrannic rule and control. It’s people act like animals of instinct according to their fallen nature which ultimately results in totalitarian control and monitoring. There are those that would have you believe that you are living in freedom, free from GOD’s moral law, but let me ask you, does that sound like freedom? It’s not. It’s bondage.

True freedom is found in Jesus Christ. So about now you’re probably asking “what the heck does that even mean?” Glad you asked.

Remember the Grinch? How the love of the people touched his heart and it grew 3 sizes that day? It’s kind of like that, but better.

If you’re human, you’ve been hurt and at some point you’ve hurt others. You may be carrying guilt and shame for many things that others will refuse to let you forget. Or, you may be the one that has trouble forgiving others for what they have done to you. Maybe you’re just a cold hearted selfish person that’s bitter about life. Everything that’s gone wrong in your life you’ve put on the pile of the “life stinks” attitude.

These are all things that Satan will use to keep us depressed, angry, and away from GOD. You may even blame GOD. But I assure you, GOD loves you and is waiting for you to ask Him in. The key is the Holy Spirit. When you ask Jesus to be your Lord and savior, that you believe He died as payment for your sins and has the power to forgive all sin, to transform you and ask His help in enabling you to turn from your sin, the Holy Spirit enters in.  When you receive that forgiveness, and the Holy Spirit enters your heart, your heart and mind begin to be transformed. You are truly free. Sinful things you once liked will start to bother you more and more. Your eyes will be opened to spiritual truth and you will see the world for what it is, temporary. The joy of eternity settles in along with the knowledge that the Lord is with you though every trial you will face.

The final exam approaches. Some will be exempt, and others won’t. Those that will not heed the warnings of the Father, and ask His Son to be their Lord and savior, will take the final. That exam will include life under the hell of the Antichrist. It will include one critical question? “Will you take the mark of the beast and declare your allegiance to him?” If you answer “yes”, you fail. You’re eternity will be spent in the lake of fire.

If you’re paying attention, the end time signs are all around us and you know it’s close. They’re found in GOD’s Word, but for His Word to make sense, you need the Holy Spirit to see clearly.

Please, put away your pride, humble yourself, get alone somewhere and get on your knees. Ask GOD to reveal Himself to you, to forgive you, and ask Jesus to come into your heart. He’s waiting for you and knocking at the door. Let Him in.

Did I say pretty please?

GOD Bless you.

Mat 28:18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.
Mat 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Mat 28:20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
