With all of the news, commentary, and speculation regarding what will or won’t be done regarding COVID-19, and any potential tracking or vaccinations being discussed, I thought it may be helpful to go over some of the scriptural facts regarding the mark of the beast as many are concerned that the “mark of the beast” may be part of these.
An accepted practice that is utilized when an individual trains in the process of identification of counterfeit money, or bills, is to study every aspect of the real bill, and not all of the potential counterfeits. I believe this principal applies to the future identification of the mark of the beast as well.
The first key point is that the “mark” will be placed either in, or upon, the forehead or right hand. GOD does not make a mistakes, so we can be confident in his Word. The Greek word that is translated as “in” in the KJV is “epi” and can be translated as “in” or “upon”. This mark will in some way contain, or indicate, the name of the beast, or the number of his name. The number we all know is “666”. (Rev13)
Timing is also key. At the time of the actual implementation of the mark, the Antichrist (1st Beast) and the one world government, will be in power. The one implementing the mark will be the False Prophet, who is also called the 2nd Beast. He will be demanding worship of the image of the 1st Beast (Antichrist), or be killed. That image will be given life by the False Prophet however, what that image, or representation is, is unknown. (Rev 13)
The third key point is that anyone who worships the Beast and receives his mark CANNOT be saved. That person will receive the full wrath of GOD and be also thrown into the lake of fire at the great white throne judgement. This also indicates that people will have a choice. (Rev 14)
You may ask, why would anyone choose to take the mark?
2 Thes 2 gives us just that reason when talking about the coming Antichrist;
2 Thes 2:9-12 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
I fully believe that one or more of the technologies in development right now will be a player in the development of the final “mark”. These potentially include a combination of microchip tattoos, genetic modification, RFID implants, and many others however, we must always keep in mind the scriptural facts discussed above to identify what is the actual “mark”. That said however, I recommend everyone be very cautious of putting anything in or on your body that you do not absolutely know the science behind, the intent, and what it does. Under no circumstances take a vaccine that modifies your genetic makeup! Our genetic code was given to us individually by GOD.
We see the time of sorrows and birth pains in process in our world today along with the push for that one world government, one digital currency, and one world religion. Prophetically, the plagues, disasters, Jew hatred, christian persecution, and heavenly signs will become more frequent. Evil, perversion, and corruption will increase and the love of many will grow cold. We also see the falling away happening to the church in general. (Mat 24)
Depending on where you stand regarding a Rapture doctrine (pre-trib, mid-trib, pre-wrath, post trib), remember that GOD told us as believers, that we are not destined for His wrath. (1 Thes 1:10 & 1 Thes 5:9) (Note: His wrath begins after the 6th seal in Rev 6)
Jesus however, told us in Luke 21, “And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”
He’s a good GOD, so look up!
