The title of that old 60’s tune by the Righteous Brothers is very telling of the state of our world today.
Intolerant deep seated hatred can be seen everywhere with increasing violence, abuse, and barbaric behavior each day.
Evident from the lies, constant deception, and seemingly lack of common sense, many of our current U.S. and global leaders are corrupt, narcissistic, self-serving, ego maniacs that are pitting us all against each other to further their planned destruction of society as we know it. Their purpose is to rebuild the world in a totalitarian one world government model out of the ashes of the destruction they orchestrate.
Are you falling for it? Who is your hatred toward today? Are you trying to destroy someone because they do not believe or act like you? Are you sitting at home watching the mainstream media news and seething in anger?
There are now plenty of government and media generated causes to pick from and perceived enemies to choose from, but one thing is for certain, the further we move as a people from GOD and His Word, the worse things will become.
While the world tells us to “do as you please” and be self-absorbed adrenaline junkies that are power hungry, money hungry, and to take the most we can get from this life, Jesus tells us quite the opposite;
Mat 22:36 “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?”
Mat 22:37 And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the great and first commandment.
Mat 22:39 And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”
The Bible tells us GOD is love. So what does love look like?
1Co 13:4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant
1Co 13:5 or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
1Co 13:6 it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.
1Co 13:7 Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
So if GOD is love, and the Mosaic Law was given to us to show us what is truth and wrongdoing (Mat 22:40 above), then it’s only logical that we should be rejoicing in that truth and not in wrongdoing as defined in the Mosaic moral Law. If we change GOD’s definition of truth and wrongdoing to what each of us feel, we are not only headed for social chaos, we are also asking for GOD’s judgment.
While it is true that we as Christians are under GOD’s grace and forgiveness, it doesn’t change GOD’s moral law and commandments or give us a license to sin.
Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound?
Rom 6:2 By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
Jos 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Psa 119:12 Blessed are you, O LORD; teach me your statutes!
Psa 119:13 With my lips I declare all the rules of your mouth.
Psa 119:14 In the way of your testimonies I delight as much as in all riches.
Psa 119:15 I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways.
Psa 119:16 I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.
GOD’s moral law was given out of love, truth, and holiness to guide and save us from the destruction of the spiritual disease and death called sin. He did not give us His law to be a kill joy and a tyrant desiring for us to be miserable rather, He knew that sin would lead us to pain, suffering, and eventually eternal death. It’s an appetite that is never satisfied and pulls us in deeper and deeper hurting not only ourselves, but the people around us. It separates us from fellowship with GOD and Jesus with an increasing hardening of the heart that makes us bitter, angry, miserable, and cold. Those that want to keep breaking GOD’s commandments and laws will go to every extreme measure to suppress the guilt they feel by continuing to stay in a hyper emotional state through anger, depression, bitterness, euphoria through drug use or sex, busyness, and many more. This also leads to a lashing out and persecution of anyone that tries to shed light on the deception of sin and the truth of GOD.
Joh 3:20 For everyone who does wicked things hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his works should be exposed.
Joh 3:21 But whoever does what is true comes to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.”
Jesus told us the sequence and events that would occur in the last days before his return as King of Kings and Lord of Lords including;
Mat 24:10 And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.
Mat 24:12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.
Everything that Jesus and the prophets have said about the last days is coming to pass before our very eyes and everyone must make the biggest decision of their life. That is;
Will you choose Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior to spend eternity with Him? Or, in the midst of global chaos, war, famine, and plague, will you choose the false savior that will announce a one world government and a one world religion with false promises of peace, safety, no more earthly judgment by men, and a worldwide community of mutual respect? Will you take his mark to be able to buy or sell to survive? (Keep a close eye on what is said and announced by the pope and UN this month)
This beast system, it’s antichrist leader, and false prophet are all foretold in the Bible which warns that if anyone receives it’s mark, they too would receive the full wrath of GOD along with them.
This time is a time of separation between those that will choose GOD and His Son or choose the deceit of the enemy Satan. We must be grounded in GOD’s Word with strong faith while trusting in GOD to get through any hardship and trial that comes in the days ahead.
There is only one winner in this final end time scenario and that winner is Jesus Christ. We too are winners and heirs along with Jesus if we choose Him, turn from our sins, and walk in holiness and His truth.
Bring back that lovin’ feeling… choose GOD.. choose Jesus.. choose love.
